Holdcove is built to be local-first. The links you save live in a database on your device. You do not need an account, and we do not collect your email, name, or location to use the core app.
What stays on your device
URLs, titles, descriptions, notes, collections, and tags are stored locally. Uninstalling the app removes that library from the device.
Link previews
When you save a link, the app may request that page over the network to read publicly available Open Graph metadata (title, description, image). That request goes to the site you saved, not to a Holdcove library server in v1.
This website
The marketing site is static. If analytics are added later, they will be disclosed here and kept optional where required by law.
